How do I rent an eBike?
Follow the "BOOK NOW" button from the dropdown menu on our site. After that, simply follow the online booking information. You will also be prompted to sign our rental and waiver agreements as well as enter your payment information. You will receive an email confirmation once your booking is complete.
How do I pick up and return an eBike?
You'll be contacted by a Super Squad team member at the number you provided on your reservation to coordinate your pick-up. Returns must also be scheduled with a team member by calling us at (302)313-1356 so that we may inspect your rental and chat about your riding experience. Pick up/drop off location is 20819 Coastal Highway Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 (inside Rehoboth Beach Barbell Club).
Do you provide any safety equipment?
Yes, each bike comes equipped with front/rear lights, mirrors, a bell, upgraded reflectors, a lock, and a motion sensor alarm. Helmets are also provided and SANITIZED before and after each rental.
Do you offer training on how to operate the vehicle?
After the rental agreement is signed, we provide an in depth walk-through of all functions for operating the eBike safely and an instructional test ride.
What is your refund Policy?
Cancellations made within 48 hours are fully refundable. Cancellations made less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours will receive a maximum 50% refund of the rental fee. Cancellations anytime within the 24 hour window will receive no refunds. No refunds will be given to renters who seem impaired or intoxicated. We strictly adhere to this policy!
How far can we drive the eBike?
You can go up to 25 miles per charge depending on speed, terrain, throttle use, and rider weight.
Can I run out of battery during a ride?
It is not very likely to run out of battery during a ride or tour. However, it is not impossible. If you only use the electric throttle and DON’T pedal at all then yes, you will deplete the battery much faster than normal and may have to pedal your way back on your own power. Therefore, we always recommend that you pedal just like a regular bike whenever possible and then you will not even come close to running out of battery. All batteries are fully charged before your ride.
How big are your eBikes?
Our bikes have a set 27" inch seat height, however the seat design allows for various riding positions and will comfortably accommodate riders ranging from 4'6" to over 6'0".
How physically fit do I need to be?
With our eBikes, your level of fitness does not matter nearly as much as a traditional bicycle. As long as you are in good physical health, are able to ride a regular bike and have good balance and coordination, you meet all the criteria to ride one of our eBikes.
How safe are your eBike tours?
We take safety very seriously, and we have specifically chosen certain routes for our tours that utilize bike lanes whenever possible. We do occasionally share the road with traffic so you need to make sure you are comfortable doing so in our guided tours. We also inspect all of our bikes before and after each ride. We provide a 15 minute orientation and practice ride going over basic bike laws and signals.
What happens if I go over my allotted time for the rental?
You will be charged for an additional full day rate if you keep the eBike beyond your rental agreement time period. If you need more time please let us know immediately.
Can more than one person ride the eBike at one time?
No, these eBikes are single seater eBikes and are meant for one rider only.
Is there a weight limit for the eBikes?
Yes, there is a 300lb max weight limit per eBike.
Do you have gift cards?
Yes, we do offer gift cards in any denomination on our website.
Are you able to pay cash for a rental?
No, cash will not be accepted for the rental as a major credit card is required per insurance requirements.
How old do you need to be to rent an eBike?
Primary renter must be 18 years of age or older to rent, there can be others in the party as young as 15.
Can I extend the rental time if I’m out riding?
It's possible as long as another rental hasn't been purchased for the same bike at a time after you were supposed to have returned the unit. Call the office and we would be happy to accommodate you.
